Funeral service for Gayle Terry, 85, of Decatur, will be Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 1:00 PM at No Fences Cowboy Church with Bro. Josh Sparkman officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday at the church. Burial will be at Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Terry, who died Monday, December 30, 2024, was born on December 11, 1939, in Morgan County to Coleman D. Holmes and Joyce Pannell Holmes. She attended No Fences Cowboy Church. Mrs. Terry co-owned the Children’s Shoppe with her sister Betty and made custom clothing and draperies for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husbands Ottis Turrentine and Alton Terry and one sister, Betty Depreast.
