Graveside service for Gayle Lewter Haislip, upon her wishes, will be held at Riverview Memorial Gardens on Monday, October 2, 2023, at 2:00 PM. Bro. Joe Wayne McGee will officiate. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.

Gayle, age 85, was born on February 19, 1938, in Lincoln County, TN to the late Willie Lawrence and Odell Lowe Lewter. She was a graduate of Central High School and a member of the Church of Christ. Gayle passed away on September 30, 2023, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morgan Haislip; grandson, Christopher Morgan Mathis; granddaughter, Tanille Groce; sisters, Eloise Dollar and Doris Solomon; and brother, Jimmy Lewter.

She is survived by three daughters, Lisa (Dennis) Groce of Fayetteville, Lorie (Patrick) Sherman of Thompson’s Station, and Lana (Dandy) Bradford of Fayetteville; two granddaughters, Camille (Richard) Allar of Shelbyville, and Alanna (Brent) Edwards of Franklin; three great-grandchildren, Casey (Britta) Allar of Tullahoma, Alina Allar of Shelbyville, and Olivia Allar of Shelbyville; three bonus great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson due in December; six bonus great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wilna Gentry, and Linda (Oren) Bates; and three brothers, EW Lewter, Larry (Donna) Lewter, and Denny Lewter all of Fayetteville.
