Mrs. Gayle C. Harper, age 57, resident of Santa Fe, passed away unexpectantly Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at her residence.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 3:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Inez Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Hilltown Cemetery in Santa Fe. The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 12:00 PM until the 3:00 PM service hour at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
A native of Maury County, Gayle was born October 23, 1964, and was the daughter of the late Clyde Hay and the late Geneva Warren Hay. She graduated from Santa Fe High School and was a longtime member of Hilltown Emmanuel Church of Christ – Pentecostal. She enjoyed being outdoors tending to her flowers, feeding her hummingbirds, and riding on their pontoon boat. She also liked to watch butterflies and was an avid Alabama football fan.
Gayle is survived by her husband, Chris Harper; son, Devin Paul Alexander of Santa Fe; stepson, Jackson Elijah Harper of Shelbyville; brother, Roger Hay of Santa Fe; nephew, Dakota Hay of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Brooklyn Moles and Taylor Moles; and her precious puppy, Diamond; best friend, Cindy Craig of Santa Fe; and two cats, Bama and Lucky.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, T.J. Moles.
Pallbearers will be Keith Logue, Bill Cosey, Tommy Craig, Frankie Harper, Johnny Cates, and Donnie Boshers. Honorary pallbearers will be all the members of Hilltown Emmanuel Church of Christ.
