Gary Wayne Morgan Sr. of Decatur, passed away on Friday January 6th, 2023. His visitation will be from noon until 1:30 at Roselawn Funeral Home on Tuesday January 10th. His Celebration of Life will be officiated by the Masonic Lodge and will begin at 1:30 in the chapel of the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
Gary Morgan is survived by his son, Benard Foster(Pat), Daughter, Gina Richardson(Lance), grandchildren, Michaela Foster, Hunter Foster, Ben Richardson(Kristen), Tabitha Hardwick(Joe), great grandchildren, Hazel and Harrison Hardwick, sister Linda Cheek(George), and nephew, Morgan Cheek.
He is preceded in death by his son, Alden Ray Foster, and wife Barbara Ann Morgan.
Serving as pallbearers will be Andy Lasch, Morgan Cheek, Ben Richardson, Joe Hardwick, Taco Yancy, and Neil McAnally. Honorary pallbearer will be Scott Lagrone.
Gary was an avid Cahaba Shrine Road Runner.
