Gary Wayne Madewell, 65, of New Hope, passed away Friday.
He was preceded in death by father, Clyde B. Madewell; mother, Inez Virgie Madewell and brothers, Buddy Madewell and Doug Madewell.
Surviving are wife of 45 years, Suzie H. Madewell; son, John (Lacy) Madewell; daughter, Jennifer (David) Hagler; grandchildren, Riley Roberson, Owen Wilkinson and Corvin Madewell; brothers, Bobby (Vivian) Madewell, Farley (Ocie) Madewell, James (Becky) Madewell and Donald Madewell; sisters, Betty Ruth Whisenant and Shirley Ann Posey and numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will follow Tuesday at 1:00 pm. Pallbearers will be John Madewell, Riley Roberson, Owen Wilkinson, Joseph Hindman, Billy Madewell.
Interment will be in Neals Chapel Cemetery.
