Gary Wayne Holdbrooks, 69, Sheffield, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024. Visitation will be Sunday, August 4, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. A memorial service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel.
Gary was a member of Grace Life Church of the Shoals and a veteran of the Alabama Army National Guard. He served as Worshipful Master of F. & A.M. Sheffield Lodge 503 and retired from T & R Wholesale Florist after many years of service. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, LJ and JoAnn Holdbrooks, and parents-in-law, Harvey and Ann Casiday.
Gary is survived by his wife, Olivia Casiday Holdbrooks; children, Hunter Holdbrooks (Queshia), Casiday Holdbrooks, and Jo Ellen Holdbrooks; sisters, Kaye Dotson (Brad) and Jana Heyne (Scott); grandchildren, Braxton Holdbrooks, Jordan Starnes, and Joseph Starnes; nieces, Natalie Dotson, Faith Heyne, Maggie Heyne, and Mia Heyne; siblings-in-law, Nelson Casiday, Audra Andrews (Skip), Carl Casiday, Brian Casiday, Cheryl Borden (James), and Paige Creasy (Marc); and many nieces and nephews.
