Gary Wayne Gurley Sr., 60 of Athens, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born on January 13, 1962, to Ronald Gurley and Billie West.
Mr. Gurley is survived by his children Gary Wayne Gurley Jr. (Dominique), Brandon Gurley, Christina Gurley, and Brenda Salomon (Gavin); 6 grandchildren; and good friend Mark Hamilton.
Proceeded in death by his parents and brother Max Gurley.
A graveside service for Mr. Gurley will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Bottoms Cemetery. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
