Gary Wade Finley Jr., 62, of Toney, Alabama passed away November 6, 2022, at his home. Gary Wade was born June 17, 1960, in Huntsville, Alabama to Gary Wade Finley Sr. and Dorothy Finley.
Gary Wade had a lifelong passion and love for racing. He was the 1989 Nascar Dash Series Champion, Huntsville Speedway multi-time Track Champion, and 1999 Nashville Super Truck Champion.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gordon W. and Goldia Finley; father, Gary Finley Sr.; and Crew Chief Bill Bentley
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Finley; wife Misty Finley, sons; Garrett Finley, and Austin Finley; daughters, Kate Oliver (John), Shasta Finley, and Casey Finley; sister, DeeDee Gilbert (David) and their daughter Nicole as well as several nieces and nephews, and 9 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore Alabama from 5 P.M.- 9 P.M.
Funeral services will be held Thursday November 10, 2022, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama at 11:00 A.M. with Bro Jeff Bennett officiating Burial will follow in Charity Cemetery, Hazel Green, Alabama.
