Gary Paul Hammons, 75, of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away on October 11, 2023 at his residence. He was a US Marine veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and a member of the VFW
and American Legion.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 4 pm at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens with Raymond Brandon, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow into Pinehaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday October 14, 2023 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Joyce Wilkerson Hammons; sister, Brenda Cisco; brothers, Bobbie Hammons (Betty), Billy Hammonds (Laura); numerous nieces and nephews.
Gary Paul Hammons was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Wille Mae Hammonds; sister, Jane Hammonds; brothers, Wayne Hammonds, Stanley Hammonds, Tony Hammonds.
