Gary O. Potter, age 57, Spruce Pine, Alabama passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Russellville Hospital.
The visitation will be from 12-2 pm Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL prior to the 2 pm funeral service in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Merrell Potter officiating. Interment will be in East Franklin Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joey Quillen, Jonathon Baker, Jason Baker, Cory Potter, Jeremy Potter, Eric Ergle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Teddie Potter; granddaughter, Haley Richardson.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Potter; daughters, April Harvey & Rowland Byrd, Yolanda Richardson & Duane Oxendine, Amanda Baker; mother, Jean Potter; siblings, Steve & Susan Potter, Gregg & Angela Potter, Rhonda & Charles Baker, Wendy & David Ergle; grandchildren, Allison, Laura & Grace Harvey, Collin & Breanna Richardson, Lexie, Jordon & Harley Cothrum; a host of nieces & nephews.
Family and friends are encouraged to wear their Alabama Crimson Tide attire for the service.
