Gary McGee, 71 of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, July 24th, 2024, at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. McGee was born on June 27th, 1953, in Florence, Alabama, to Bernon Alton McGee and Mary Lois East McGee.
Mr. McGee is survived by his wife of 50 years, Beverly McGee; son Jason McGee (Felicia), of Athens; grandchildren Lilly McGee, Chloe McGee, and Tessa McGee; and sister Lynn Louis, of Florence.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services for Mr. McGee will be Sunday, July 28th, 2024, at 2:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Toney Wales and Anthony Bledsoe officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00-1:50pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Evans Cemetery.
Mr. McGee was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church of Pulaski, Tennessee. He enjoyed fishing, Jeeping, and Alabama Football.
