Gary M. Morrow, 72 of Corner, passed away June 8, 22 at his residence.
He was a retired coal miner from Drummond Co. Shoal Creek Mine. He was a member of the UMWA. He was a member of Brooklin Masonic Lodge #704 F&AM. He was a Volunteer Firefighter, having worked with both Bagley and Sumiton Fire Departments. He was an avid Alabama football fan and he loved John Deere tractors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Imogene and Marrell Morrow and his brother, Larry Joe Morrow.
Survivors include his wife, Gina Morrow; son, Charlie Morrow (Amanda); grandchildren, Weston Morrow and Jadyn Sanders; sister, Martha Wiley (Don); brother, John Morrow (Angela); father-in-law, Truman Allums; good friend, Phil Brooks; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
The family request that any memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association in Gary’s memory.
There are no services scheduled. His cremains will be interred in New Horizon Memorial Gardens.
