Gary Lynn Creighton, Sr., age 69, of Florence, departed this life on April 13, 2014 at his home from a sudden illness. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 16, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral service will be Thursday April 17 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Sonny Owens and Justin Crosby officiating. Burial will be at Jacksonburg Cemetery. Mr. Creighton was preceded in death by his parents, George and Virginia Creighton and son, Eric. He leaves behind his loving wife, Juanita, who will forever miss him. Other survivors include his children, Jeff of Florence, Jeremy and wife, Jamie, of Tuscumbia, Gary Lynn, Jr., of South Bend, IN, and Melissa, of South Bend; step-daughter, Kenda Borden of Florence; grandchildren, Coty, Larissa, Chaney, Memphis, Logan, Jenci, and Cody, all of Florence; siblings, Lee, Dewayne, and Marlene, all of Bremen, IN; and special neice, Kurta Addington. He was employed by Anderson News in Florence as a manager for 36 years. He was presently employed by Premiere Mold and Die in Florence. Pallbearers will include Robert Dinges, Randy Pickens, Chris Haddock, Timmy Rhea, Daniel Freeman, and Mike Norton.
