Services for Gary Lloyd Miller, 69, of Mooresville, IN are set for 1:00 PM Friday at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM until service time.
Mr. Miller died Saturday, April 16, 2022 at IU Health West in Avon, IN from complications of Parkinson’s Disease. He was born on November 8, 1952 in Alcorn County to the late Eugen Edward and Ripple Shields Miller. He was a 1970 graduate of Kossuth High School. He was a member of the first inaugural band at KHS. He was in freight transportation throughout his entire career where he retired as a linehaul supervisor from YRC Freight in Indiana. While he certainly enjoyed owl tagging, bird watching and astronomy, he most enjoyed time with family.
Survivors are his wife, Naomi Miller; son, Jason Miller (Ric Stephens) of Roswell, GA; daughter, Macy Harris (Leland) of Greenwood, IN; brother, Johnny Miller (Connie of Michie, TN; sister, Janice Miller of Corinth; aunt, Peggy Pearson of Corinth; step-granddaughter, Gabrielle Casassa and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
