Dr. Galen Harold Kiser, 76, Sheffield, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024. Visitation will be Friday, May 31, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Truman Sutton officiating. Interment will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens, Tuscumbia.
Dr. Kiser was a veteran of the US Marine Corps, Registered Pharmacist, Instructor, and Author. His 56+ years of diverse experience included 37+ years in the medical field, most recently as a DO – Emergency Medicine with Shoals Primary Care.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Whitman and Mosethel “Bid” Kiser; brother, Eddie Kiser; and sisters, Doris Ann Kiser and Norma Jean Kiser.
Dr. Kiser is survived by his wife, Diane Faust-Kiser; stepson, Jordan Faust; and beloved niece and nephew, Morgan Maxwell and Paul Maxwell.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Tomlinson, Billy Carmack, Mike Bacon, Michael Klyce, Melvin Darby, and Blake Thompson.
