Gale Talley – Obituary

galeGale Talley, age 69, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Visitation will be today from noon-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel, with service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating will be Brother Bryan McIntyre. She was a member of Killen United Methodist Church 15 plus years. Gale was a hair dresser and owner/operator of Cross Stich Emporium for many years.
She was preceded in death by parents, Robin and Eunice Cocke, and sister, Freida Fulmer.
Survivors are husband of 49 wonderful years, Vernon Talley, of Killen, Alabama; son, Daniel Talley (Susan); daughters, Robin Talley and Susanne King (Anthony); grandchildren, Lindsey Black (Kyle), Cameron Talley, Tyler Hodge, Callie King, Dylan Talley, and Ethin Talley; great-grandchildren, Bella, Becca, and Maggie; sister, Amy Ogletree (Mike); and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Pallbearers are Timmy Talley, David Lovelace, Morris Killen, Dudley Talley, D.J. Talley, and Matt Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Ogletree, Claude Talley, and Larry Fulmer.
Special thanks to the full staff of Southern Care Hospice Care and our dear friends for all the care given to our loved one. Memorials may be made to United Methodist Church for missions at 201 J.C. Mauldin Hwy Killen, AL 35645.
