Gale McDonald Helums, 79, of Taft, Tennessee passed away on Monday, June 11, 2022, at Lincoln Medical Center in Fayetteville, Tennessee.
She was the daughter of Jim and Helen McDonald.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles Ray Helums, brother Mike McDonald, and daughter-in-law Toni Helums.
She is survived by three sons: Jeff (Susan) Helums, Jason (Lisa) Helums, and Justin Helums, grandchildren Meghan (Caleb) Smith, Morgan (Cade) Kiddoo, Lindsey (Wesley) Bevels, Jentry (Calley) Helums, Kyle Helums, and Kaitlyn Helums, as well as one great grandchild, Harrison Bevels.
There will be a visitation held for Ms. Helums at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Thursday, July 14, 2022, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be held the following day, Friday, July 15, 2022, at Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore, Alabama and that is scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Organization.
