Glindan Gale Jobe Profile Photo Funeral services for Gale Jobe, 77 of Walnut, MS are set for Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 11am at MT Pleasant Church with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, September 30, 2024 from 5pm – 9pm and Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 10 am until service time at MT Pleasant Church. Bro. John Meeks and Bro. Doc Dollar will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Tate Waldon, Justin Waldon, Louis Glover, Mark Mills, Chris Davis and Dennis Jones. Born on December 30, 1946 in Brownsville, MS., Gale passed from this life on Friday, September 27, 2024 in Memphis, TN. She was of the Christian faith and a retired school teacher with 35 years of service. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed going to church and reading her Bible. Gale is survived by her daughter, Emily Jobe Stewart (Michael); 3 grandchildren, Ashley Stewart Reagan (Hunter), Ethan Stewart and Mason Stewart; special caregiver , Renee Davis ; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Gene Jobe; father, Monroe Hodum; mother, Lola Hodum; brothers, J.P. Hodum, Freed Hodum and Lonzie Hodum and her sisters, Leona Arnold and Edith Mercer. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Gale Jobe.
