Gail Marie Simpson, age 83, of Nashville, TN passed away Sunday, December 06, 2020 at her residence. She was a native of Pontiac, MI, retired secretary from Superior Fire Protection, and a member of Lebanon Road Church of Christ in Nashville, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Wardie and Bessie Marie Patterson Dooley; her husband, Horace Wilson Simpson; and one brother, Ward Henry Dooley.
She is survived by one step-daughter, Patricia Qualls of Cookeville, TN; one sister, Deborah Crews (Murrell) of Nashville, TN; one brother, Michael J. Dooley (Margaret) of Killen, AL; sister-in-law, Norma Dooley of Bismarck, ND; half-sister, Imogene Morton (Alvin) of Lexington, KY; one grandson, Shannon Cotton of Lawrenceburg, TN; and four great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Lebanon Road Church of Christ. Funeral services will be conducted at Lebanon Road Church of Christ at 12:00 PM Thursday, December 10, 2020. Graveside committal will follow at 3:00 PM at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
