Mrs. Gail Louise Girdley, age 84 passed away on July 13, 2020 at her home. Mrs. Girdley was born on July 27, 1935 in Lenoir, NC to Fred McMillan and Mary Annie Bowman McMillan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Wayne MacMillan, Fred Vernon McMillan, and Wick McMillan; sisters, Mazeleen McMillan Bowman and Loretta Hogan.
Mrs. Girdley is survived by her husband, Leonard Girdley of Hoover, AL; daughter, Melissa Ogle of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Joshua Clark Ogle and Laura Ann Ogle both of Birmingham, AL; sister, Linda Kay Story of North Carolina.
She was a member of West Hobbs Church of Christ.
The graveside service for Mrs. Girdley will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Roselawn Cemetery with Bro. Bill Irby officiating.
