Gail Graviet, 77 of Ardmore, Alabama passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Limestone Health Facility in Athens, Alabama.
Born Tuesday, May 25, 1937 in Athens, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Virgil James and the late Etha Kennamer James. She was the wife of 51 years to the late Lester Graviet.
She lived in the Ardmore area most of her life and was a member of Hollands Gin Church of Christ.
She is survivied by her sons, Danny (Connie) Graviet of Ardmore, AL Tony ( Sherri) Graviet of Ardmore, AL and Randy (April) Graviet of Ardmore, AL, brother, Horace (Jewell) James of Athens, AL, sisters, Gwen (AL) Lamb of Athens, AL and Linda (Allen) Scheiber of Lakeville, IN, grandchildren, Jason (Adrian) Graviet, Summer King, Kris (Brittley) Graviet, Lauren Graviet, Josh (Stephanie) Cooper, Kelly (Brian Thomason)Cooper, Stephanie Smith, Max Hitt, Audrey Graviet, Parker Graviet , and Ansley Graviet, all of Ardmore, AL, and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Kasey Harbin and Rev. Tony Boyles officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home.
