Gail Garcia Alexander – Obituary

gailGail Garcia Alexander, 62, of Moulton, formerly of Double Springs, passed away on November 11, 2013.

She was born on May 12, 1951 in Double Springs, Alabama. She retired from Lawrence County Commission on Aging after many years of faithful service. She was a devoted member of the Moulton Chapter of Eastern Star. She enjoyed crafts, collecting, traveling, scrapbooking and cake decorating. There wasn’t a craft show or yard sale she didn’t like.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 10am-1pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where services will be held at 1pm. Reverend Bill Frank Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Double Springs.

She is survived by her son, John Garcia and his wife Tammy Renee; daughter, Tammy Garcia Garrison and her husband Joey; brothers, Lesslie Garrison and his wife Joyce, Lee Dale Garrison; she was grandmother to three grandchildren, Nena Garrison, John Robert Garcia and Tanner Garcia. She had many friends, co-workers and close family that she loved very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Glenn Garrison and Bertie Lee Orton Garrison.
