G.W. “Hoopie” Dillard, 90, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024 at the New Albany Health and Rehab. He was a farmer. He retired from the Town of Ecru where he was loved and well known. He was a member of Cairo Baptist Church in Ecru.
Services will be at 2:00pm Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Bro. Mark Tutor and Bro. Randy Rhinehart will officiate. Burial will be in the Antioch Freewill Baptist Church. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors, sons, Gerald Dillard and Paul Dillard; daughters, Donna Deaton, Bonnie McDonald and Patricia Watson; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brothers, Rickey Dillard and Jimmy Wayne Dillard.
Preceded in death by, daughter, Barbara Jane Dillard; wife, Dianne; five siblings, William, Ernest, Leighton, Carl and Mary.
Pallbearers, Justin Dillard, Joseph Dillard, Brian Cobb, Rodney Dillard, Levi Cobb and Eli Cobb.
Visitation, 5-8pm Saturday, April 27, 2024 and 1:00pm until service time Sunday, April, 28, 2024 all at the funeral home.
