FAYETTE COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident that has taken the life of a Fulton, Mississippi man and has sent a 17-year-old to hospital with injuries:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 10:45 p.m. Thursday, July 18, has claimed the life of a Fulton, Miss. man.
Ashton C. Miller, 19, was fatally injured when the 2021 Toyota Corolla, he was a passenger in, left the roadway, struck a culvert, and overturned. Miller was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was ejected, and pronounced deceased at the scene. The 17-year-old driver of the Toyota was airlifted to an area hospital for medical treatment.
The crash occurred on Alabama 18 near the 22 mile marker, approximately eight miles northwest of Fayette, in Fayette County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
