RUSSELLVILLE- Police issued a statement concerning the arrest of a suspect wanted on several charges. Along with the arrest of the wanted suspect another person has been arrest on charge including Hindering Prosecution Second Degree:
“Russellville Patrol Officers located a vehicle that the suspect, Billy Joe Williams, was associated with. After conducting a traffic stop, Williams was located attempting to hide on the passenger floorboard. He then attempted to flee but was quickly apprehended. The driver of the vehicle, Tabitha Goins, was also arrested.
Billy Joe Williams is charged with the following:
Obstructing Justice Using a False Identity
Forgery Second Degree
Possession of a Controlled Substance – meth.
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Attempting to Elude Law Enforcement
Fugitive From Justice
Tabitha Goins is charged with the following:
Hindering Prosecution Second Degree
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
In addition to this department having felony charges against him, he is wanted out of the following states for the following charges:
Georgia
Failure to Appear for the charges of Robbery by Force, Aggravated Assault, Exploitation and intimidation of disabled adult, elder person, or resident, and Giving False Information to a Law Enforcement Officer.
Mississippi
Probation Violation on the charge of Aggravated Assault.
