Funeral service for Frelon Charles ‘Chuck’ Harbison, 73, of Falkville will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in Flint Creek Cemetery, Pastor Troy Puckett officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 2 p.m. before the service.

Mr. Harbison was born on November 11, 1951, to Frelon Levester and Donnie Chandler Harbison. Chuck was a loving husband, great father and awesome papa. He is leaving behind a great legacy of handwork, and unwavering love to everyone around him. He was a master in woodworking and was also a maintenance mechanic where he worked at American Proteins for many years. He took pride in sharing his knowledge with his son and grandkids in everything he knew. He always had a positive attitude and outlook on life, even when times were bad. Above all things he served the Lord and his family with all his heart. He was always willing to lend a hand no matter the situation and always had a servants heart. Chuck was a combat medic in the Vietnam war and took immense pride in serving his unit and his country, and He loved his brothers in arms. Chuck loved his family with all his heart and his son and daughter were the light of his life, then came his grandkids. He became a papa that loved helping them, from playing with Barbies to fixing cars and most anything else he loved sharing his knowledge with his grandkids. Chuck was an awesome and loving husband, always letting his wife Sandy know that she was #1 right after God. In 2017 his son started a business and he helped build it from the ground up and continued to help work there many years right alongside his son. He was a man of many talents and his legacy will live on in his son and grandkid’s and anyone he ever came in contact with. We will forever cherish him in our hearts. Always loved, deeply missed but never ever forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jamie Harbison; sister, Shelia Beckwith; grandson, Samuel Harbison.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Sandra Harbison; son, Jeremy Charles (Angela) Harbison; brother, Paul David (Wanda) Harbison; sister, Jan (Jim) Rabb; grandchildren, Kendall Harbison, Jana Harbison, Jeremy Harbison, Brayden Harbison, Gabriel Harbison and Raegan Harbison; and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Bryson Bush, Brandon Hyatt, Erik Schaffer, Sam Turner, Austin Harbison and Brian Harbison.
