Freida Joyce (Daniel) Fore, 91, passed away Monday evening Jan 11, in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was born in Wayne County, TN August 15, 1924 to Lonnie and Lyda Daniel and grew up with four brothers and three sisters. A former basketball player and school teacher in Wayne County, Tennessee and member of Highland Baptist Church in Florence, Alabama since 1951; and was in the church choir and enjoyed gardening and making flower arrangements for her church and also served as a local poll worker for many years. She was married in 1941 to George Emmett Fore until his passing in 2000. They raised four surviving sons in North Florence; George Jr., Rocky T., Kent D. and Britt A. Fore. She had ten, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be from 12-2 PM before services at 2 PM at Highland Baptist Church Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016 with George Fore and Eural Daniel officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens in Florence.
