A visitation for Mr. Freeman “Turtle” Benjamin Holcombe will be held Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM with a chapel service following at 7:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home. Peck Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
“Turtle” passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville. He was born to Thomas Benjamin and Ruby Parker Holcombe on September 30, 1946 in Missouri. He worked as a manufacturing engineer prior to retirement. He was a very hard worker who loved his family, especially his grandchildren, enjoyed watching movies with his family and had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved Alabama Football and enjoyed taking his kids to different amusement Parks.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Debi Lombardo Holcombe
