Freeda Grisham Tate of Rogersville died Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Huntsville Hospital at the age of 68.
She was a member of Corum Chapel Baptist Church, retired and worked part time for her son.
Visitation will be Saturday from 12 -2 at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow immediately with Mike Poff and Wayne Williams officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Collin Childers, Jeremy Grisham, Matthew Tate, Spencer Tate, Jonathan Baker, Daniel Sylvester, Greg Forsythe and Aaron Hill; honorary, Frank Fuller, Kevin Blankenship and Phi Roden.
Mrs. Tate was preceded in death by her parents, Bishop & Bertie Wigginton; husband, Ollins Grisham; siblings, Dorothy, R.C., Harvell, Delbert, Gene, Obie and newborn triplets; granddaughter, Kelly Devoe. She is survived by her husband, Jim Tate; children, Barry (Bonita) Grisham, Kellie (Steve) Childers, Chester (Theresia) Walker, Pat (Chuck) Berkenbile, Brenda (Greg) Hill, Nancy Tate, James Michael Tate and Sondra (Mark) Thornton; grandchildren, Jeremy, Jayda, Taylor, Collin, Chris, Chianti, Zack, Holly, Daniel, Whitney, Jonathan, Brooke, Spencer, Matthew, Tatha, Aaron and Allison; eight grandchildren; sister, Shirley Howard and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
