Fredrick Leon “Freddy” Butler, 74, of Florence, passed away January 8, 2025, at his residence. He was retired from NAFCO. Survivors include: Sons: Dale Butler & Duane Butler Daughter: Melanie McWilliams (Harlan) Brother: O.L. Butler Sisters: Brenda Pettus & Patricia Newton (Alfred) (11) grandchildren; (20) great grandchildren Preceded in death by: Wife: Joanne Gautney Butler Parents: Otis Leo Butler & Vera Mae Richardson Butler Brother-in-law: Ed Pettus Best friend: Kenneth Miller Due to the inclement weather, the arrangements will be announced later. Pallbearers will be: Will Bevis, Will Armstrong, Dustin Butler, Caleb Butler, Hunter Butler & Noah Marks. The family would like to thank Southern Care New Beacon Hospice for their care.
