Funeral for Frederick Walter Fytczyk, 74, will be Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Parkway Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Jeff Waldrop officiating. Burial will be at Jones Chapel. Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral.
Mr. Fytczyk, who died Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital, was born March 10, 1939 in Chicago to Walter and Josephine Fytczyk. He was retired from Bell South after serving in the United States Air Force in communications. He was a previous choir singer and an Alabama Roll Tide Football Fan. Mr. Fytczyk was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Doris Nell Terry Fytczyk.
He is survived by his son, Devrun Shea Fytczyk; daughter, Celestra Fytczyk Gordon; brothers, Tony Fytczyk and Mike Fytczyk; sister, Pat Fytczyk Nosek; grandchildren, Darian Putman, Caleb Gordon, Presley Davis, Robert Gordon, Thea Gordon and Apollo Gordon.
Pallbearers will be Mike Fytczyk, Elwood Eades, Howard Sullivan, Daran Putman, Micah Putman and Ethan McMurray
