Frederick Junior Austin was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on January 21, 1937 the son of the late Clarence and Rachel Ellen Qualls Austin.
On December 20, 1958 he was united in marriage to Peggy Joyce Tidwell, who preceded him in death on July 31, 2016.
Mr. Austin worked for Garan Manufacturing for 37 years and also had worked at Savannah Foods. He attended Tennessee School for the Blind. Mr. Austin was of the Pentecostal belief. He loved to play piano and he loved to work in his flower and vegetable garden. Mr. Austin also enjoyed raising chickens.
He departed this life on September 18, 2016 at Savannah Healthcare at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 28 days.
Mr. Austin is survived by his daughter, Paula Ann Austin of Savannah, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Michael Austin, two sisters, Wilma Lambert and Bernice Bretherick and five brothers, Hubbert, Wilburn, Curtis, Robert and William Austin.
