Freddy D. Cooper – Obituary

Mr. Freddy D. Cooper, 67, of Hodges, AL, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017 surrounded by all his loving family. He was a native of Franklin County Alabama. Poppy was much loved and adored by his eight grandchildren. His wisdom and understanding was greatly admired by his family and friends.
Visitation for Mr. Cooper will be Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, AL. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Phil Campbell, AL. Officiating will be Steve Gober.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Gail; children, Kelly Cooper Rouse (Larry), Casey Cooper, (Alicia); brothers, Paul Cooper; and Larry Cooper (Brenda), Ricky Cooper (deceased) and sister, Gwenda Veras (Joe). Grandchildren include Ashton Rouse, Aidan Rouse, Alexa Rouse and Alivia Rouse, Saylor Cooper, Mason Swinney, Mary Kathryn Swinney, Samuel Swinney; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding Mr. Cooper in death were his parents, Oscar and Vera Swinney Cooper.
