Born in Decatur, Alabama in 1945, she graduated from Priceville High School, then lived in Missouri and Arkansas, before returning to this area where she sold real estate for 44 years. Freddie was well known for her cheesecake and fudge, as she loved cooking and baking. She loved reading recipe books. She enjoyed bird watching, especially the Sandhill Cranes which migrate to this area annually. She continually tended to unique plants and orchids. But, her greatest joy were her grandsons.
