Funeral services for Freddie Gray, 78, of Adamsville, TN., are set for Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 2pm at Michie Church of God of Prophecy with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from 12pn-2pm at the Michie Church of God of Prophecy. Bro. Josh Franks, Bro. Jim Mitchell, Bro Terry Swaw and Dr. Randy Bostick will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Jeff Foster, Tyler Fowler, Tony Baker, Terry Baker, Kyle Lambert, Jed Baker, Blakney Austin, Blake McCalvin, Greg Bennett and Johnathan Gray. Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Baker, Wade Nixon and Terry Nixon. Born September 6, 1945 in South Side, TN., Mr. Gray passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. He was a member of Oakland Baptist Church and a retired business owner. Freddie loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them . He was a very generous person and was always giving to others. He was a collector of many things and he loved his church. Freddie is survived by his wife of 59 years, Janice Foster Gray; 3 grandchildren, Annabelle Gray, Griffin Gray and Deanna Gower and husband Josh; 1 great grandchild, Max Gower; sister, Barbara Baker and husband David; god-daughter, Denise Bennett and husband Greg; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his son, Shawn Gray; father, Atwell Gray; mother, Loraine Wardlow Gray; and his brother, Lloyd Gray.
