Mr. Freddie Gilbert of Prospect passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015. He was born in Prospect, Tn. on March 26, 1952 and was 63 years old.
Mr. Gilbert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a cattle farmer and worked many years for Maremont Gabriel.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 8th from 4:00 until 8:00 at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be on Saturday, May 9th at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Terry officiating.
Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James A. and Mary Louise Kimbrough Gilbert, two brothers, Jerry Gilbert and Wayne Gilbert and one sister, Wanda Gilbert.

Daughter, Kelly (Marty) Clemmons of Prospect
Daughter, Kim (Ricky) Adams of Athens, Alabama
Son, Jonathan Gilbert of Prospect
Grandchildren, Lance Adams, Amber (Justin) Brown of Athens, Jacob Clemmons and Ashley Clemmons of Prospect.
Great-grandson, Bentley (Buster) Brown of Athens
Sister, Jeanette Barnes of Prospect
And a host of nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
