Freddie Barton Smith, 63, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Vanderbilt Hospital.
Mr. Smith has lived in the Cash Point area for 10 years where he was a member of Cash Point Baptist Church. He spent his free time enjoying cooking and catering for his friends and family.
Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his father, Freddie Ross Smith, one sister, Jana Graviet, one brother, Nelson Ross Smith, as well as his grandparents: Harrison Pack, Pearley Pack, Leo Smith, and Verona Smith.
He is survived by his mother, Edith (Lyndal) Bowen, as well as one brother, Tony Smith.
There will be a visitation held for Mr. Smith at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM. Following visitation, a Graveside Service will be held at Gatlin Cemetery beginning at 11:00 AM. Bro. Steve Hargrove will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
