Freddie Ann Miller, 65, of Rogersville, died Friday, April 12, 2013, at ECM Hospital.
She was a graduate of Coffee High School and University of North Alabama, where she obtained a B.S., M.A. and EdS and was a proud member of Delta Kappa Gamma and St. Michael Catholic Church.
She was a retired history teacher of 34 years at Central High School and involved in many community affairs.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow immediately, with Father Edward Markley officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Patrick Miller, Alexander Miller, Michael Miller, John Wilke, Justin Belew, Nathan Belew; honorary, Dephew Nash, Marlan Miller, Burt Helton and James Couch.
Freddie was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Virginia Hogue, and stepson, George L. Miller.
She is survived by her husband, George Miller; stepchildren, Marie (John) Wilke, of Jackson, Miss., and Patrick Miller, of Birmingham, Ala.; eight grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
She will be remembered as a lover of all animals and supporter of charitable causes.
