Mr. Freddie Allen Freeman, age 70, of Cullman, AL, passed away peacefully at his son’s home on August 3, 2023. Mr. Freeman was born on November 29, 1952, son of John Richard Freeman and Clara Umphrey. He was married to Patsy Humphries Freeman. Mr. Freeman was a licensed CDL Truck driver and did commercial hauling. Freddie was a good hearted and caring individual. He enjoyed helping friends and neighbors and often assisted in their lawn care. He attended auctions occasionally and was considered a “picker” when it came to antiques and collectibles. Freddie was a big fan of Alabama football and was always ready to ride over to Tunica.
Freddie is survived by his wife, Patsy Humphries Freeman; son, Shane Freeman (Jennifer); daughter, Shonda Ann Freeman; step-daughter, Shelia Cumo; step-son, Tracy Humphries (Sonia); grandchildren, Molly Freeman, Jessica Alldredge, Eric Cumo, Evan Cumo and Allison Humphries; and several brothers and sisters.
Services for Mr. Freeman will be held at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. Visitation will be between the hours of 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Dr. Tim Lipsey and Brother Larry Conley. Interment will be at Etha Baptist Church Cemetery.
