Mrs. Freda Joyce Entrekin Beasley, age 82, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Monday, November, 15, 2021. Freda was born July 2, 1939 to Marjorie Inez Wix Entrekin Warren and Edward Earl Entrekin.
Freda was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Faith, family and compassion to all was her hallmark. Freda was the epitome of the virtuous woman from Proverbs 31. She loved her family and was blessed with many talents which she used to meet their needs as well as help others. Her compassion went far beyond that of her own family. Freda loved people, never met a stranger and viewed every person as valuable.
Freda graduated from Cullman High School in 1957. She earned an associates degree from Wallace State after most of her children were grown and chose to work as a substitute teacher to be around children. She was a member of Brickyard Baptist Church for 55 years and taught adult Sunday School and sang in the choir for many of those years. She was extremely intelligent, artistic and an accomplished seamstress. There was very little she couldn’t do. She enjoyed music, cooking, reading, playing board games, arts and crafts, feeding her Hummingbirds, NASCAR and Alabama Football. She enjoyed all the holidays but she especially loved Christmas.
A celebration of life funeral service will be held Friday, November 19, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home; Brother Tommy Graves will officiate.
