Fred Wayne Vickers age 73 of Athens, passed away Friday, May 21, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Vickers was born January 26, 1942 in Morgan County, AL to Fred William Vickers and Inell B. Tucker Vickers.
Services will be Saturday, May 23, 2015 11:00 a.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Jerome Hillard officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Sandlin Cemetery.
Survived by his wife, Helen Abernathy Vickers of Athens.
Pallbearers will be Brian Abernathy, Robert Cook, Mark Edwards, Johnny Abernathy, Bobby Cowan and Kevin Hawie.
