Fred Vincent – Obituary

Funeral service for Fred Vincent, 88, will be Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Rock Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Tidwell and Rev. Jeff Allred officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. The body will lie in state for one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Oden Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Vincent died on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born July 16, 1925, in Morgan County to Leldon D. Vincent and Gracie Mae Patton. He was retired from Nicholson File in Cullman. He was a World War II veteran serving in the U. S. Army and was a wholesale distributor of Health and Beauty Aides. Mr. Vincent was a minister and pastored at Oden Ridge Baptist Church, Rock Creek Baptist Church, and Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents.

his Wife, Freda Vincent, Eva, AL

One Son:
Joel Vincent (Becky), Winchester, KY

Three Grandchildren:
Brendan Vincent, Durham, NC
Alyson Hill, (Rob), Winchester, KY
Caitlyn Vincent, Winchester, KY

Pallbearers will be Elton Shaddix, Stanley Hall, Jason Smith, Matt Latham, Dereck Coffman, Jerald Patton. Mike Corley and Tony Moses.
