Fred Roland Lee, Jr. passed away peacefully in his home at 12:05 p.m. on January 26, 2022 at the age of 93 years. Born in San Diego, California on September 28, 1928. He was preceded in death by Thelma M. Lee, his loving wife of 51 years.

Lovingly remembered by son Mark D. Lee of Ben Lomand, CA; daughter Jan C. Lee of Vista, CA; son Craig A. Lee (Lynda) of Portland, OR; daughter Nancy A. With a long-standing career in aerospace industries, Fred came to Huntsville in 1988 with Westinghouse, which became Northrup Grumman. After retiring from his own engineering consulting firm in 2012 at the age of 84, he remained active socially with LearningQUEST and Huntsville Ski Club. He will be remembered fondly and with wonder by the many who came to know him in his beloved new hometown of Huntsville, AL.

Graveside services will be held privately. We will announce a Celebration of Life later this year.

Flowers gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, please make any contributions to LearningQUEST/Huntsville Madison County Library. Donations may be made at https://lquest.org/nextlevel/
