Funeral service for Fred Norton Harville, age 86, of Decatur, will be Thursday, May 28, 2015, 3:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Dan Hopper and Casey Gray officiating. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Harville, who died Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born November 26, 1928, in Lawrence County, to Forbus Harville and Pauline Rogers Harville. He was a member of Somerville Road Church of Christ, and he and his loving wife, Lorene, would have been married 60 years on July 2nd.
He is survived by his wife, Lorene Vest Harville of Decatur; two sons, Jeff Harville (Joyce) of Eva, and Greg Harville (Stephanie) of Huntsville; one daughter, Donna Harville Hopper (Dan) of Eva; six grandchildren, Buckley Hopper (Beth), Ashley Hopper (Brittney), Jenna Gray (Casey), Julie Harville, Morgan Harville, and Tara Harville; and four great-grandchildren, Brayden Hopper, Kelsie Hopper, Naomi Grace Gray, and Brandon Hopper.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
