Fred N. Beason of Huntsville passed out of death into eternal life on the 7th of December, 2019. Mr. Beason was a Huntsville native, local businessman, realtor, supporter of many local community organizations, loving son, husband, father, grandfather and humble child/servant of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Mr. Beason proudly served his country as a pilot in the United States Air Force and as a career NASA engineer. He was a member of the Auburn University Alumni Association, Auburn University Golden Eagles, proud supporter of Auburn University Engineering Programs, Liberty University, Big Oak Ranch, King’s Homes, Sheriff’s Youth Ranch, Downtown Rescue Mission, North Alabama Food Bank, Salvation Army, St. Jude’s Children Hospital and many other organizations
Mr. Beason is survived by his loving daughter, Belinda V. Gladden; bonus daughter, Jacquelyn Tanner; son, Brent W. Beason (Nancy); bonus son, Robert W. Cooper; granddaughter, Jennifer Gladden Corbett (Jared); three great grandchildren, J.R. Corbett, Taylor Corbett and Tiffany Corbett; grandson, Jason Gladden (Tonya); grandson, Kyle Beason (Maggie); nephews, Frank Beason Windisch (Margaret), Tommy Beason (Jan); niece, LaVera Jean Kim; and many other family members. Mr. Beason was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert T. Beason, loving wife of over sixty years, Mrs. Mary Van Jones Beason, and son-in-law, Mr. Randall O. Gladden.
Visitation will be from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2019, in the Chapel at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. Mr. Beason’s life will be celebrated immediately following with a Memorial Service at 1:00 pm. There will be a private burial.
Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Downtown Rescue Mission, Salvation Army, Big Oak Ranch, King’s Home, Sheriff’s Youth Ranch, or any other local charity of your choice.
