Funeral services for Fred Haley, 72 of Counce, TN., are ser for Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST with interment in Henry Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be Friday, March 8, 2024 from 5pm-8pm and Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 10am-11am at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST. Dr. Randy Bostick will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Chris Haley, Michael Doran, Nicholas Haley, Noah Haley, Tripp Doran and Archer Doran. Born March 2, 1952 in Corinth, MS., Fred passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at his home in Counce, TN. Mr. Haley was a retired millwright for Norbord Sawmill and a retired veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Oakland Baptist Church. Fred was a former member and Chief of the Farmington Fire Department, former part time Deputy for the Alcorn County Sherriff’s office and a driftwood artist. His favorite pastimes were boating, camping, rescuing animals and working in the yard. Fred leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Hilda McCalister Haley; daughter, Alicia Doran (Michael); son, Chris Haley (Terrie Bain); 6 grandchildren, Nicholas Haley, Noah Haley (Katie), Tripp Doran, Archer Doran, Shiloh Haley and Elisa Grieser; 2 great grandchildren, Olivia Haley and Jaxon Tucker; sister, Gloria Ward (Dennis); other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Haley and mother, Margaret Haley. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Fred Haley.
