Fred Braden – Obituary

Fred Braden of Lynnville, passed away on February 16, 2017 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tn. He was born in Culleoka, Tn. on July 12, 1930 and was 86 years old. Fred passed away surrounded by his family.
He was a loving son, father and brother, received his education in Maury County pulblic schools, worked at the mill in Lynnville for 12years or more, and worked on the shock line at Maremont Gabriel/Arvin for 35 years. He was baptized at Happy Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 22nd from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 23rd from 11:00am until 12:00pm with the funeral service to follow at 12:00pm in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Braden Cemetery, Lynnville, Tennessee
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfonzo and Clara Dean Braden, brothers, James Wilkes Braden, Alfonzo Braden, Jr., Irvin Braden, Flo Braden and Bruce Braden. Sister, Willie Maude Braden Yokley, and children, Fred Braden, Jr., Geneva Crutcher and William Thomas Braden.
He is survived by his,
Son, Johnny Braden of Nashville
Son, Keith Williams of Nashville
Son Reginald (Tracy) Williams of Nashville
Daughter, Willie Mae Montgomery of Nashville
Devoted sister and Caregiver, Mary L. Drake, sisters, Verna D. (David) Houston and Coma Marie Cotham
Sister-in-law, Katherine Braden of Nashville, Marilyn Braden of Columbia and Lorraine Braden of Pulaski
Special friend, Margaret Abernathy
11 Grandchildren and 25 Great-grandchildren
Several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of family and friends.
