Funeral service for Franklin Ted “Teddy” Alexander, Jr., age 68, of Danville, will be 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Aldridge Grove Church of Christ with Rev. O. D. Bowling and Rev. Ken Johnson officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends on Monday, April 22, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel, and on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the church.  Interment will be in Aldridge Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Alexander, who died Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born February 16, 1956, in Alabama to Franklin Alexander, Sr. and Wilma Hatton Alexander.  He was preceded in death by his father, and sister, Tina Crotzer.  Teddy loved dogs, his red Farmall tractor, being outside, woodworking, and to simply “piddle.”  He was a loving son and father, and an active member of Moulton Church of Christ.

He is survived by two daughters, Sheena Alexander and Samantha Alexander; mother, Wilma Hatton Alexander;  four sisters, Anita Bohanon (Myron), Debbie Swanson (Dean), Sonja Speake (Larry), and Lisa Alexander (Bill); brother-in-law, Gary Crotzer; granddaughter, Eliana Espindola; and a host of nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be David Frost, Larry Speake, Myron Bohanon, Randy Bowerman, Roger Weeks and Stephen Speake. Honorary pallbearers will be Anita Bohanon, Debbie Swanson, Sonja Speake, and Lisa Alexander.
