Franklin “Frank” Roosevelt Glover – Obituary

Franklin “Frank” Roosevelt Glover, age 86, of Florence passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 8th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. Funeral will be Thursday, May 9th at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Henry Rogers officiating. Interment will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Garden.

Mr. Glover was a member of Faith Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was retired from Reynolds Alloys as a cast operator and was an avid Alabama fan. “Roll Tide” He loved his grandchildren and great- grandchildren and also enjoyed watching Western movies, gardening and yard work.

He was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Glenda Smith Glover; wife, Marjorie Glover; and wife, Hazel Glover.

Survivors include his children, Kathy Rogers (Henry) and Tim Glover (Wanda); brothers, Oscar and Robert Glover; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
