Franklin “Frank” L. Williams, 88, of Leighton, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023. Visitation will be held at Colbert Memorial Chapel on Monday, November 6, 2023 from noon until 2pm. A funeral service will follow immediately in the chapel. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Guy Estave and Brother Troy Fisher will officiate the service.
Frank was dedicated to his family. He enjoyed going turkey hunting, helping others, and doing anything outdoors. He loved his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchild dearly. Frank was a lifetime member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
Preceding Frank in death were his parents, Starling and Mable Williams; wife, Lorie Maxine Williams; and brother, Travis Williams.
Survivors include his sons, Terry Williams (Susan) and George Williams; daughter, Ginger Tabor (Joe); grandchildren, Crystal, Jessica, Kevin, Terrance, and Leslie; great grandchildren, Madison, Georgia, Emily, Corbin, Addison, Ridge, Everly, Jett, and Gwen; and one great-great grandchild, London.
Pallbearers will be Terry Williams, Terrance Williams, Kevin Williams, Joe Tabor, Andrew McGuire, Tommy Beard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Wright and John Fisher.
Special thanks to North Alabama Hospice, especially Machelle Williams, who sat with Frank and kept him comfortable.
